What Moves the Price Up or Down
Two drains the same length can come back with very different quotes. That’s why we always confirm price with a CCTV inspection, never a guess over the phone. Here’s what moves the number:
Length & number of repairs
Longer runs cost more overall but less per metre. Separate repair spots each need their own install.
Junctions & branch lines
Toilet, bathroom and kitchen junctions often need their own liner, or careful reinstating after the reline.
Boundary traps & depth
Deep sections and boundary traps take longer to reach and line. Depth is one of the biggest swing factors.
Access points
Good access upstream and down keeps the price down. Tight access might mean pulling a toilet pan or cutting a new access point.
Pipe condition
Blocked, collapsed or scaled-up pipes might need jetting, robotic cutting or descaling before we can line them.
Pipe size
Most house sewers run 100mm. Bigger 150mm mains, common on multi-unit sites, use more material.

Complimentary inspections apply to residential sewer systems and are subject to technician availability. Stormwater systems, commercial and strata properties, insurance and pre-purchase reports are inspected at standard diagnostic rates — contact us for details. Where a drain must be cleared or accessed before camera inspection is possible, standard service charges may apply and are always agreed with you first.
Relining vs Digging, Why the Numbers Favour No-Dig
Dig up a deep sewer and you’re paying for machinery, spoil removal, maybe shoring, then putting back everything on top: concrete, paving, decks, landscaping. On a like-for-like deep repair, that usually runs two to three times what relining costs once you count the reinstatement and if the pipe’s under a building, a pool or a mature tree, digging might not even be an option. Relining fixes the pipe from the inside, comes with our 50-year warranty, and we check every install on camera before we leave.

Yes. Once we’ve inspected your drain, the written quote is a fixed price for the scoped works and it doesn’t move on the day. If we find something new during the works, we talk to you and agree any change before proceeding.
Quotes are valid for 30 days. Works are confirmed with a 30% deposit, with the balance invoiced on completion after the post-installation CCTV verification. Interest-free payment options are available.
